Recent activities:

No army equals to no pay. It has never been easy to survive in this world without money. Everything we do is related to money. To ease the current problem, i got to get myself to work. Thanks to keith, we found a $6 crowd controller job. Sounds good and attractive right? But i =t wasnt so.

$6 minus 20% CPF = $4.80.

There is an upcoming 5days freshman orientation camp. By looking at the schedule sheet, i dun think it interests me at all plus have to pay 50bucks and additonal 30bucks transport fees. wow expensive. ok no choice but to forgo it.

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon registration is on. Got to register before next week, to enjoy discounted rate.

Yea, its 23rd aka aku (me) birthday. Firstly, I would like to thanks those who had sent blessings and greetings to me. Thanks guys, seriously, birthday can never be so interesting without friends like you guys. It is my honoured to have friends like all of you. Pink IC

I've finally gotten my freedom, no more booking in to camp on Sunday night, no more Area Cleaning, no more Cookhouse, no more PT, no more Nonsense. I'm a 100% pure Civilian now. Nothing got to do with Military (Except reservist). My Pink IC is here!

I have a person to thanks, who has always be there for me, always being so supportive, been through the tough time with me, listening to my whining, seeing me booking in to camp, and out of camp, bearing through loneliness when im not around. She is none other than my sweetheart dear. Thank You Dear :) And now, im going to make time for you :)

Im still looking for part time job, i need some cash for the next few months before school term start. Rmb to intro job to me if there is any...

Marathon Finisher!

Yea yea im once again proud to be the finisher of 42km Sundown Marathon. In fact, i had already completed 2 marathons in total:

-Sundown Marathon 2009

-Standard Chartered Marathon 2008

More to come, more intense trainings to be carried out. I love running!!!

About the race:

Changi Point --> Changi Airport Cargo --> East Coast Park --> Bedok Connector --> Bedok Reservoir --> Tampines/ Pasir Ris Connector --> Loyang Industrial Park --> Changi Point.

The route is kind of weird, many small turns and narrow paths, total of 4 bridges to cross (Overhead bridge) ups and downs, crossing umpteen roads and Park connectors. In conclusion, a very very tiring race. Maybe it's because, it was held at night, I got to fight against both the race and the concentration. The crazy part was, i shouted ORD at the finishing point, and the crowd applaused for me, that was like so funny and crazy. haha

Junhao, Elmer, Gabriel and some of my Sec Sch friends were there too. I wonder how Gabriel and Junhao performed in the race. lolx that was their first time. And it was realli a tough race.

Back to the serious part:

1st 10km - 1hr

21km - 2hr 20mins (cui)
42.195km - 5hr 20mins (even more cui)

Sundown Preparation!

A lot of work needs to be done. Routine runs need to be carried out continuously. Proteins, Carbohydrates, H2O need to pump in every now and then. All these are the preparation to the upcoming Sundown Marathon. Im only half-prepared for it - had completed 15km run, shall continue to let my muscles get used to the long run, so that both legs will not be sprained on that day. End of EU!

Its the end of EU!

In civilian term is known as War Gaming. Do not be mistaken by the name, thinking we are playing some kind of xbox game or psp game. NONONO, worse than a 584905847 years ago gameboy! Nothing interesting, flat 2D icons moving ard like an idiot. Sounds stupid right, ya think so. Due to this major Division event, it involved people from reservists, us and alot alot alot of crabs, sotong and seafood family, we got to sacrifice our sleep, sacrifice our weekend, sacrifice a lot of stuffs. All thanks to a person, for introducing this "wonderful" stuff to us.

In less than 2 weeks time, will be the start of the Sundown Marathon run. Worse than shit, i think im so unprepared for the run. Just pray hard that i wont collapse, wont get dehydration, wont get heatstroke (lolx for sure, will nv happen, night run)!!!

Thinking of getting this Copper Bronze SonyEricsson C905. Heard that the Capturing Device is good. Specification wise, not bad, cnet. review still acceptable. Hmm But the price still hasnt dropped. What do u think?

Few more days/weeks to go - End of Army Career (Not inclusive of reservist period). Alot of things is needed to be done. Attending CO Parade, Medical/Dental FFI, Signing of Clearing Form, Shifting Furniture, Packing stuffs. Due to the new batch of mono intake for the battlion, we'll be release 1 week earlier (8th June) instead of 14th June.

What's life after ORD?

Should be going around looking for job and work for (1-2 months) before school start. Will be studying at NTU, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biological Sciences (4years).

Of course not forgetting my dear, will spend all days n nights wif her. We are going to many places and do many things right aft i ORD. Thank You Dear for the celebration ytd, i realli had lots of fun ytd. Hope u haf urs too. Looking forward to our next event again. I love you =)

Last Monday to Wednesday:
We played as e roles of cyber warriors (computer-based), commanding and controlling the whole battle group/ battlion into war. In 2 to 3 weeks time, we are given the supervisor roles, to give instructions to the players. This will be the last MAJOR event before ORD. Hope everything turns out fine.

Last Thursday:
ORD Parade - A simple parade to tell the whole world we are going to ORD!!!
ORD Dinner - Held at Chervon, with food and music and dance by Music and Drama Company!

Handsome Suit!!

A very funny and interesting japanese movie. Ongoing laughters were heard throughout the entire show. A story of a guy, but is very similar to the Korean version of 200 Pounds Beauty. The story ended with a slight twist. It was great, worth the time, worth the laugh, and worth the money.

Midnight Movie!

This is our very first midnight movie trip. We have never had any movies recently, so the idea of catching a latenight show would definitely be a good one. We set off rather late, as we did not want to waste time walking around the "closed shop" mall. True enough, by the time we reached the mall, only a handful shops were not closed. We walk, we shop, we rest and all we wished for, was the start of the show time, as 90% of the shops were closed by then. In order not to waste any of the stary night, we took out camera and started to pose and shoot.

Handsome Suit lasted 115mins and we called it a day by taking SMRT Night Rider home.

Moo Moo!!

Happy Good Friday to all ~~

i'll just start this post by showing some photos, i haf seriously no idea what to type..so please bear with me!

Above photos: Baby looks like a model to me. I cant believe she is just so photogenic, any angles of her are great. I love you!!

For the next four days, i'll be at clearing off and leave. Stupid idea, im ording in june, but we are forced to clear it in April. Reason being: The entire Month of May will be occupied with Exercises - War Game!! Seriously, i want my ord date to arrive asap. Kind of sick in camp!!

Next month, i'll be taking part in the Sundown Marathon. My 2nd 42km run, and my 1st night run. Scary~

15th April onwards is the released of the Uni result. Hope to know the outcome soon!!

Lets update some army stuffs here!!

-Exactly 82 more days to ORD. "move it, move it..."
-had my 2nd time Combat Shoot, the results are: 20/20 for day shoot, 11/20 for night shoot. Oh ya not forgetting those idiotic mosquitoes that caused my body to itch.
-NE Trip to Singapore Discovery Centre. Anyway it's my 3rd time there. Cant stop complaining, it was bored.
-Trying very hard to get rid all of my offs and leaves by the month of april and march.

A very good morning to everyone =). it has been 2 weeks since my last update. Ya schedule is kind of busy these few weeks, with a lot related to army-stuffs. But still i'll not neglect my blog, will haf it updated once im free.

All About Army:
-Countdown to ORD: Less than 100 days; exact 97days. That's very cool =)
-I was selected to be the company best soldier of the month. Followed by, interviewed with the Sergnant Majors for the battlion best soldier. Anyway, im not really interested =)!!!!
-As usual, alot of guard duties coming up!!!!

My last visit was long ago when i was in primary school. Now with the re-visiting, everything seems to look the same to me. lolx. The only difference is, the animals are decreasing. I dun remember seeing pigs, cows and so on...Only monkeys n monkeys, monkeys are everywhere ard the zoo..heex

Haha that marks the end of our 1st outing to zoo. The price is $18 for adult (very ex). and $9 for child.

Last few days, baby was sick and somehow had damaged her beautiful vocal. When she talks, really Fiona-Xie-Sound-Alike. so cool, lolx..her favourite numbers: 0385985. Now she's on the way to recovery. Yippee!!

hello everyone, im back with valentine gift from my baby. Lets go into detail - a watch, a bf/hubby certificate and a well-decorated big A3 Card. Hahax thanks baby for spending so much time on the card, heex, yea i love it alot.

So what does valentine means to u?

To me, it doesnt need to make an effort to spend big sum of money to buy the 26inches bear or a 999 rainbow roses. All it needs, is just a simple card or gift with a sincere heart and thoughts that brings the message out. Even with the current economic crisis, a hug, or a kiss, works as well too.

It doesnt have to spend the day in town or visiting the famous restaurant, and realised all the menu has changed and resulting in paying more for the valentine's set meal. To me, all it needs, is to cook a special dish that is related to the occasion, and share the joy to the love one. Not only does it work well, it can be so special and creative that it touches love one's heart.

Afternoon - I went to Baby's House 1) Watched videos. 2) Baked Mozerella Chesse Pizza
Evening - Baby and I went to have dinner with my family, followed by shopping at our favourite hang out place (NTUC).

Hello everyone,

Back to blogger again. Lets see what's the highlight for this week... ...

Tuesday and Friday, i went to Air Force School for SAFSA Track and Field Meet. It is an annual event that allows Army, Air Force and Navy to gather together for the run. Of course i was representing Armour Group. General comment, I think Armour doesnt haf all e good runners except this guy, Gary Yeo, who is actually from Team Singapore. He came in 1st for both 100m and 200m event. Wow!!! I think if Armour can get good results, most of the credits will have to go to him.

Standard Chartered Certificate

Wow a very nice certificate, this is so far the nicest certificate that i have ever received, cos it is a combination of sweat, tears and efforts in the run. Btw i have registered for the Adidas Sundown Marathon. Well, shall start my training very soon.

Since Valentine is coming, let me show you some secret from my baby.

I could not believe when baby told me this is her first time baking The taste is marvellous, the texture is nice, the design is cool, the smell is great, once eat it, you will want more. Im serious, the cookies are very nice - The taste is actually the same as the Calbury Chocolate Cookies. Heex. Ok im having one now, and i wan more!!! lolx.. Thank you Baby, a very surprising valentine's day gift from you. Woohoo..hahaha hugs!!

Chinese New Year!

Wish Everyone A Happy and Properous Chinese New Year!

New Year Eve:
Instead of having reunion dinner with my family, i spent my eve day in camp - 24-hour guard duty. The 24hours routine is as followed: duty, sleep, eat, duty, sleep, eat. Life is just so boring in camp, if i can choose my life, i would rather spend the time with my family and do some last min decorations to my house. In order to add more live to our duty, the management had given all duty personnel an additonal 5 bucks to our food. Hmm the food didnt taste nice but still better than nothing :)

First Day of New Year:
I did my countdown in camp, with me watching channel 8 live telecast of the new year celebration. Wen Bin is lucky, at 12am sharp, he was the first to receive the greeting from me. lolx!! Because, he was beside me, another suay guy to be involved in this new year eve guard duty. Haha, and as usual, i gave baby a call to wish her :) . Life still continue as per normal - Duty still has to be done ... ... ... New Year Turnout and New Year Prowling!! What a way to celebrate CNY 2009. lolx

Luckily everything went smoothly in the afternoon, everybody came to report their new year duty, hence none of us will have to stay for the next shift duty. Reached home around 10am.

First visit: Grandpa's House.
It's a norm for all the relatives to gather at ah gong's place for new year, and that is the place whereby almost all hongbao will be issued and received.

Second visit: 4th and 6th Uncles' House.
4th uncle stays 2 storey above, and 6th uncle stays 2 storey below. Lolx. Within a short period, we visited 3 places.

Finally back home at 10pm. Tiring!!

Went to meet baby immediately after that. Ok i cant deny that she is really pretty :) We only met for a short while as everybody was tired.

Second Day of New Year:
Baby came my house to Bai Nian in the early morning - she was half-awake :) lolx. My dad cooked mee goreng, it was nice, baby agreed too lolx. After sending baby back home, me and my family went nai nai's place to bai nian, and then to jiu jiu's house. Everything ended around 2pm.

I went out with baby to Marina Area to get involved ourselves in some new year celebration and mood. We had lots of fun, everything seems so great with baby beside me.

At night, baby fell sick. She was so weak that she couldnt walk properly, she had difficulites in her breathing. Instead of sending her home to rest, i got to keep her at my place and take care of her. I was so scared, everything seemed blur to me. I was unaware of what to do, all i did was to keep talking to her, feed her with hot water, get her to talk to me. It lasted for quite some time, until baby's breathing was back to normal. Luckily, everything was within control. Baby got back to her sleep in a short while.

Third Day of New Year:
I spent the whole day with baby. We watched home movie, ate noodles, shopped at nearbys, cooked egg cheese and egg tofu, ate tomyam fried rices. At night, baby wrote love letters to me while i took a short nap at her place :) She is indeed a very sweet and lovely girl of mine :)

Going bank to deposit our CNY money. Prepare lunch and watch home movie together. At night. i'll need to book in to camp and will onli be back the next day evening. haha

CNY Eve Eve!

Hello readers, Im back, after missing in action for exactly 2 weeks.

Happening for the past 2 weeks:

1) Chinese New Year (CNY) is coming, recently, i have been kind of busy looking for new year clothes. Searching and hunting for New Year Stuffs were tough, as usually i only have that 2-days out of 7-days to shop. Yesterday, i'd finally made up my mind, got myself a Shirt from Topman and Shoes from Converse. Baby had also successfully bought clothes from Far East.

2) Advanced Close Combat Training (ACCT) Lessons lasted for 2 weeks, followed by a grading test. The result is - I passed the Test. With that im actually 1 more step nearer to ORD. I had completed all the major and tedious activities, now is only left with some minors. Cant wait to ORD soon.

3) Standard Obstacles Course (SOC) - Yea again, I passed the test, with onli 1 training and then test on the next next day with the timing of 9mins 26secs. With that, i have actually completed almost all the BUC, followed by a promotion in rank soon. I do not need to worry so much anymore.

4) Battlion New Year Celebration (41SAR) - We had celebration at West Coast yesterday, we did not have games or any cohesion gathering, instead, we had a 5km run around the park. The purpose was to keep us fit and slim before new year, as research shown that almost 99.999% of the people tend to gain weight during chinese new year period.lolx. The day was ended with the completion 41push-ups, 41crunches, 41butter-kicks and the giving out of oranges. Thank You Guang Yi for the Ang Bao. Haha

5) New Year Eve Guard Duty. Sianx, anyway tonight i will be returning back to camp for tomorrow guard duty. Will only be back on the 1st of the new year morning. Hopefully, those that are going to replace us on monday will be punctual. I do not want to waste my new year in camp, i want to go out bai nian. Pray Hard!

6) Alot of things need to be done after Chinese New Year. These are actually the long-term plan that me and baby have planned and decided. It seems like we haf a lot alot of things to do and Im pretty sure everything will go smoothly. The plan will only be announced in stages. So do stay tuned for the plan of ours. lolx (sounds like Budget 2009). Looking forward to 4 years time!

7) I'll be doing spring cleaning later, i think my room is kind of messy. heex wish me all e luck!!

8) Yesterday, baby cooked dinner for me. Wow, i didnt know, she could cook so well, tasted so nice too. Hahah if im the judge, i'll definitely give her full marks for the dishes - rice, soup, curry, tea.

9) This year we will have reunion dinner on the eve eve of new year, meaning to say - today. Actually it isnt so, if there isnt guard duty tomorrow, and since it is fated, no choice but to eat it today. Baby will be joining me later after her work. lolx

10) Adidas Sundown Marathon 42.195km. I had managed to register for the marathon before the closing date of the early-bird package ($60). It's a once a year event, and will be held this May.

11) Registration of Universities will be started on the 1st of Feb. Im going to gif it a final try for 3 universities or maybe 4 this year. Last year i only tried on NTU, but failed. If i still unable to get a place, most probably i will start to work n earn some cash and experiences before registering next year. Again wish me luck for the Universities places.

I am back to camp once again, after much resting at home for nearly to a month. But it has never been enough for me, how cool if it could extend to few more months or even forever (most probably will only happen in dream). It was a very packed schedule, with so many things arranged for us. From Advanced Close Combat Training (Martial Arts) to Parade to IPPT Training and more to come ... ...

Guard Duty on the New Year Eve to First Day Morning of New Year - Sianxx!!! Sigh, but no choice, regimental duty, nothing can be done to avoid, unless i sell it away, but again, not worth it at all.

Finally it was a Friday, at least the moods were different and better then. Friday = Booking Out Day. Baby waited for me at the Bus Stop =))) I was so touched, and blushed upon seeing her. lolx. I cant explain the reason why. It was so sweet and lovely of her.

On Saturday, me and baby went out for movie at Cine-leisure - Ip Man. The storyline, the atmosphere, the music, the fighting techniques, all were just nice for us. haha but baby felt the pain when those people were being hit or beaten. lolx. Our the other aim is to look for New Year Clothes, and baby has already had something in mind. Yea yea nice combination, but still we are going to look for more next week before making any decision. Our last aim, which is the most important of all, is to meet up and accompany each other to gain back the losts during the 5-days camp. The day seemed to pass very fast yesterday, we cherished every second and not wanting to waste any bit of second. How great if time could pause yesterday.

Merry Christmas!

Yea I'm finally back again after missing for the entire 3 days. Wow, I just haf too many things/photos to blog, too many - all the precious and sweet memories with my baby! Bear with Me!

24th December (Christmas Eve):

Once-a-year Christmas countdown event, to other people, it might be just one-of-a-kind-day, nothing special, nothing big deal, nothing proud. On the other hand, i did find this day a significant one, a day that i grab the hand of someone i love and say a loud "Merry Christmas" to. I will never forget this best moment, it'll be kept in my heart n my memory.

Initially, the plan was to meet at 4pm for dinner. Due to some delays and so, we got to be alone ourselves and walked aimlessly around the mall. Things actually got worst when rain started to pour. However, the day could never be so great without baby around. Thanks for the smile and surprises despite of the rain. U make the rainbow appears after the rain. Since it was raining, nothing can be better than sitting at the Mac for Milo. We sing, we drink, we snap, we laugh, we talk, everything lasted us for 1 hour before making our way to meet Joey & Jordon.

Joey is actually baby's best best friend, and me, totally no link to them (except baby), in fact throughout the whole gathering, we hardly had any topics to say. After dinner, the weather did not improve at all, we got to walk to another place using a special-waterproof-equipment (umbrella), and i think the umbrella that i was holding that time is cool. It has this magical button, upon pressing, it will shoot up like a parachute, lolx, it makes all the surrounding people jealous haha. And the most interesting part is, by pressing the same button again, it will auto close. lolx, i think the umbrella is so spooky, but i like it alot.haha

After dinner, we got down to Starbucks to relax ourselves, since it was christmas eve, we must haf a stress-free and relaxation day and not only that, we had the best sofa seats of our own. As usual, i ordered Chocolate Chip Cream Frappucino for baby, and the taste is forever so great.

After we parted with Joey and Jordan, we walked down to Dhoby Ghaut and took a short break outside the station as baby's feet were pain (cos of her heels). We were sitting in the direction against the blowing of the wind. First time ever, i felt a strong X'mas atmosphere, a cooling, cold night, with people making noises, singing songs, exchanging gifts. The feels get stronger when baby gave me a hug, alright, honestly speaking, i feel love, i feel touched, this x'mas is just so great with you around. "Thank You Baby" =)

Quite pity, we didnt do our countdown in Town, instead we did it in our homeland (Hougang). Come to think it, venue, timing isn't that important, what interests me more is the person im going to do the counting with and yes is you - Baby! haha

25th December (Christmas Day):

Baby came to my house to send greetings to me, haha i was so proud to receive the first greeting form baby. heex. Baby dropped tears when my mum gave her a christmas gift, wow *nod nod* i could see from her eyes that she was really touched *hahahaha*. After a while, Predlone (nuffnang) came all the way from Jurong to Hougang to pass us home-made cookies and cupcakes. Gosh, it was so sweet of her, i seriously think that she shouldnt haf added sugar to the cookies, cos she herself is sweet enough to make the cookies taste the great too. Thanks Predlone for that beautiful cookies, and cards. Baby and I were very touched by your surprises! =)

26th December (Post-Christmas):

I went to meet baby and her mum to collect the serviced-CPU. Being the only guy there, this is definitely my responsible to carry the CPU back home. On the way up the bridge, i received a call from Kiren, eh ok very random. lolx, he was at the bus stop and he saw me! Wow, i didnt know im good at performing, using one hand to hold the CPU, and the other hand to pick up the call. Luckily it didnt drop, or else, good game!!! haha

We made a trip to AMK Hub, I couldnt remember what's the purpose of going there, but we did buy some egg tofu and mushroom back. Of course in between there were a lot of funny incidents "but im not going to post it here - a secret among me, baby and the Tofu Promoter" haha *cant stop laughing now* . We also went around to look at the Sushi ingredients, Baby promise to make Sushi for me. Haha cant wait for tat day to arrive, i will eat finish it all le. lolx. We also played basketball in Arcade, haha and we got fanastic scores. Everybody admired us. lolx.

I was surprised and touched that baby's mum cooked for me. Wow, i realli didnt expect that, and it tasted real great. One common thing that both our parents have, is their cooking skills, i think this is why im so "big-sized", and baby is so pretty now! hahaha of course, i didnt stand there and not move my body, i did help out a bit to prepare the food. And by chance, i saw her mum smiling. hahaha *my karma point increase le, going to up another level very soon* lolx!

In few hours time to come, i'll be out with Baby, Joey and Jordan to town. It should be considered some small Christmas gathering, but i seriously haf no idea what we are we supposed to do there. Maybe eat, maybe walk around to see lightings, well don't know, will know when i reach there, but one thing for sure, it will definitely be a fun day (b'cause baby is with me). I just returned back from Town, went to see the once-a-year Christmas Lightings at Orchard - So candies, so sweet, so honey! Pre-Merry Christmas to All!!

I woke up rather early this morning, reason being was to make my way to Serangoon Sec Sch to be super kpo daddy. Lols, while my baby was the mummy. Heex. In actual fact, it was the posting of secondary school for those Just-Graduated-PSLE kids. This time round, i accompanied baby n Yuting (Baby's sis) to her new sec sch. We reached there on time. The principal welcome the guests by giving his extremely "long-winded" speech. Wow, early in the morning, hearing his tones could really make me fall asleep anytime. lols..

We walked and stayed within the school compound, while baby's sister went to her new class for some administrative works.

Since our aim was to see the lightings, we walked from Dhoby Ghaut to Somerset to Orchard back to Somerset and back to Dhoby Ghaut again.

I'm back again! Let's look at my "busy" December Schedule:

Yesterday, i stayed over at baby's place. Initially our plan was to decorate cards and send it to our besties, but i was too tired, and fell asleep. Hahaha by the time i woke up, onli to realise that it was already 9 in the morning. Early morning, in my mind was all about food. We cooked our famous dish "Best in Hougang" & "Chef's Recommendation" that is Cheese Egg! Nice, nice - tasted salty cos it is from our sweat; tasted great cos it is made from our hands; tasted sweet cos it is from our heart. Want to try??? Beg Us! lolx!!!!

We travelled from Hougang to Bugis to Suntec to Marina to Hougang. Why is Bugis our preferred place? Actually i also dunno, just feel like going there. So we settled our lunch there - Veg Miso Ramen and Sushi. At Suntec, we had waffle with Ice Cream. At Hougang, we had Ice Kachang. See, it's all about food. Lolx, no wonder im getting fatter n fatter each day. Shall do more running next time.

Beach Tour!

Yesterday:

I spent my entire day in the western area of Singapore.

Morning - Camp at Kranji (West Side), ended my guard duty shift.
Before Lunch - Gone back home (East Side) to get my stuffs prepared.
After Lunch - Went Bukit Gombak (West Side) with baby to look for Dorothy.
Afternoon - Down to Jurong Point (West Side) to have movie.

Ratio of West : East = 3:1 (lols)

Movie that we watched: Four Christmases! We didnt spend money on movie, as we got free passes from Baby's sister. Thanks! haha

Today:

Went out with baby to Pasir Ris Beach. We didmt play with water, didnt play with sand, didnt really sun-tan, but we went there for a reason and that is "playground"... lols..no la joking, we went there to enjoy the breeze as well as the scenery, and most importantly, enjoy baby's accompany.

After that we went home to watch home-movie : 1 missed call. Eek not scary at all.. hahaha.. I seriously want to thanks baby for her voluntary, contibution, involvement in helpin me with my house-chores. My mum smiles alot of time today. Cos indeed u make her day, and u make my dae too. Haha enjoy e presence of u baby. ily =)

Finisher of Marathon!

So proud to be the finisher of 42.195km Island Race!

This is my first time taking part in this long run event. My longest distance that i have clocked so far is 10km. Therefore, it is definitely a big challenge for me.

The first 21km was great, had a continuously run with the timing of 2hr. At the 24km, thing started to turn bad. Yes, i got legs cramp. The pain was unbearable. Every 1km, i would haf to stop to do some stretching. The amount of Heat Rub used was uncountable, and it made our legs look so white n fair.Lolx. 100plus was given every 3km. Gahx, i think for the next few weeks, i will not want to touch 100plus drinks anymore. Scare of the taste n smell.haha. So in fact, last 18km, i walk, i run, i cramp, and total time used to reach the finishing point was 5 hr 03mins. I was quite satisfied with the timing, since it was my first time running =)

Baby came to my house just now. Gosh, she so sweet, she knew my legs are cramp and unable to move fast, she volunteered to come my house n cook noodles. Since my mum bought food for me, so she didnt cook in e end. haha but still, is the thought that counts. Oh ya, Thanks Baby for massaging my calf for me. Really had a great pain earlier on. But im feeling ok now =) ily Babe!

Collection of Kit Bag is Singapore Expo Hall 5. According to the report, it was crowded on the very 1st day of collection, so my intention was to go there early to avoid the long queue. Alright, im going to take this chance to thanks my baby again - she followed me to collect my kit bag, gosh, so sweet! Imagine standing there a couple of hours, and yet she didnt even mind or feel tired despite of her waking up early in the morning. The long wait was definitely a great one with Baby around.

Initally our plan was to look for friend at Bukit Batok, but we were unsure where or how to get there, so we changed our plan to Bugis instead. It was a short stay there. It was great and fun, and we end the day by catching a movie "Bolt" at GV Marina.

Dun be mistaken, im not ill or feeling unwell. It's actually pill for the recovery of blood lost... ...

Reason: I Donated My Blood =)

Yes, i haf finally fulfilled one of my wishlist - to donate my blood to save 3 lives. It was an event organised by nuffnang (1st aisa pacific blogger advertisement) - their first ever blood donation event and aimed to target 300 donors. Alright, im proud to be 1 of them.

This is my first time, be EXTRA nice to me!

As baby is afraid of blood, she didnt go in. The only form of communication is through sms. Wow luckily she was around yesterday, i couldn't believe what would happen if she wasnt there to give the support and encouragement haha

How i feel?

This is my first time i got involved in this blood donation event, but come to think of it, it wasnt as scary or painful as what i had thought of. Throughout the process, the nurse will use alcohol to numb the arm, and the friendly nurse will talk to the person, make the person feel so relax. And when the needle is poked into the arm, seriously saying, i could not feel anything. The whole process only take up 10mins of the time. Even if there is a slight pain, think twice, ur little pain is worth the saving of 3 lives. Don't you feel proud instead? haha.

I want to specially say a big THANK YOU to my girlfriend. Not only did she help me fulfill my dream, her presence here is my greatest MOTIVATION! You make me feel proud to be your boyfriend.

A Day With Baby!

There are 2 parts to today event!

1) Meeting with Gabriel, Byron, Elm for K.
2) Meeting with Baby

1) We had finally decided to meet up together for K. The last k that we had, was like 7-8 months ago. It was few days before we made our way to India for training. This time round, the response wasnt good, in fact a total of 4 of us.

Byron came 1st, followed by me, then Gabriel. Since it was kind of early, and some of them hadnt had their lunch, so we settled ourselves down at Lucky Point Mac. First impression of the Mac, it is small. Lunch plus waiting for the arrival of Elm. Eh we waited 2 hours for Elm to reach haha, the wait was definitely long, so in e mist of waiting, we had ice cream..lolx. And by the time Elm came, sadly enough, i didnt get to join them for K. Cos it was kind of late as i had another meeting to attend to.Haha sorry guys, join u guys next time =)

2) I went to meet Baby at Dhoby Ghaut.

Alright, she got the job! Wooooohooooooooo, im so happy for her. Congratz =) The pay is reasonable, nice working environment, flexible time slots and most importantly, it is near to where we stay.

We didnt really have any plan today (except looking for Elmo and some stuffs), so we walked aimlessly from Orchard to Wheelock to Far East to Wisma. Long distance marathon walk, haha, so we decided to take a "short" break at the Starbucks.

Had my last combat shoot, this is heavily based on individual score, and it's out of a total point of 8. And i got 7/8, with cody helping me to shoot down additonal 1, so made a total of 8/8 lolx..thanks cody for the help..Hmm according to sir, we need to get 5 points to get marksman, but after today, i realised it wasnt so.

Today:
Terrible day, sleep n sleep whole dae. But the good thing is, we are able to clear our off. So shiok, n i cleared this entire week, and will onli be back next monday. Creature waited for me at bus stop, haha n this is what i got from her.

A long walk from CityLink to Suntec City to Marina Square to Vivo City.

Suntec City:
-Played the grabbing soft toy. Only spent $2, and u know what...Nothing come out!!!!
-Went to look for Elmo at Minitoons & Toy'R'us, but cant find the one that suits me.

Marina Square:
-Went to eat Marble Cheese Cake & Green Apple "Mas Selamat" Kutsari at Secret Recipe. So cheesy, so sour, so sweet!
-Went Action City, and played with the "Ma Sha Ji". The terrible sound produced from the Lao Mu Ji. Surrounding people got frightened by the sound..lolz

Vivo City:
-Issued of Toblerone White Chocolate, X'mas is coming!

-Enjoyed the scenery of day fall, as well as the blowing of cold wind.

PSLE Results are out today! Congratz to those who did well!

I went out with Creature just now to catch a movie - Madascagar 2 Escape to Africa. "I like the move it move it!" Haha so funny, the whole theater was filled with laughters of ours. However the laughters only lasted for 89mins (exactly the duration of the show). It would be nice if it can last a bit more longer.

After the movie, we went for a short walk around the mall, and drank HOT Milo. Hahah share with u guys a new way of drinking milo - choose a spot with rubbish bin beside u, for dunno wat reason, it just tasted extremely sweet n nice. As we walked, we came across one funny looking MONSTER! Yes it is known as MONSTER because... ...

Eh..first of all, i must clarify, i didnt AWOL, i didnt run away from camp, im clearing my off. Until now, people are still asking me the same question over and over again - "Why Am I At Home?". Haha And now u know why! Come to think of it, like chalet Outing, in and out of camp so many time hahaha

Alright back to Camp Stuffs, I was at E-Mart this afternoon, and was surprised to see the arrival of the new PT Shoes. Gosh, it is definitely nicer than the older version, the cushion and support are quite stable too, it makes this shoes a good running shoes. Price: $42. Haha as usual, as long as it is related to army-items, it is FREE, we bought it using E-Credits.

Shopping With Cousin!

Good news:
My Samsung Camera is back to normal. Hahaha fan works! it has managed to get rid 95% of the water, im still waiting for the full 100% , totally free of water!

I supposed to haf a beautiful and nice sleep this morning, but i was disturbed by the noises outside my room. Oh, my cousin was here. Alright, she's very noisy, haha so i got her something to do - my psp! The only solution to keep the kid quiet.

But unfortunately, she didnt seem to get interested in the game that i play... ...
So my mama, papa n me got to bring her out to shop!

My another cousin was there too, so young n cute!

And somewhere in the centerstage, something caught my attention. Elmo (Sesame Street)!

After lunch, my parents brought that little cousin back home, while i continued by 2nd part of the shopping. As usual, I went around the area to hunt for Topman Shop. Finally, found the right shirt!

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.

He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

Camera In Coma!

My Samsung Camera is in coma now.

Incident:
Today i was with a group of ppl at the Upper Pierce Reservoir, we had a half day games n sports there. Everything was fine initially, until the ball rolled down to the sea, that was when and how my camera started to get contacted with water n became coma.

Solution:
Though, it is still under warrantly, i dun think it could be repaired due to negligence. Even if i make lie, by saying it cant be on, they wouldnt believe it, cos the whole camera got water stain in it. So, warrantly no go.

So, i actually dismantled the camera n let it dry directly under the fan. I dunno will it work in this way, but i did see a bit of improvement. So for the next few days of so, this little gadget will be under the care of me n the fan, hopefully, it can open its eyes and capture my images. I hope u can get well soon.

As usual, i went for long run today, i dunno how long was the distance, but it waS definitely longer than e previous. Im so tired.

Later i'll be going out again. Yippee.. Went out to do some stuffs..details shall not be revealed here..haha..

A compulsory program for all year 2 soldiers. It is a team effort shooting, a team that makes up of 6-8 ppl.

Our result for the Day Shoot was fanastic: FULL MARK!

But for night was kind of disappointing:
Joash (7/20 - of which 12 rounds r unexpanded as e rounds were stuck)
Team (88/120)

Though we met the requirement for marksman, but there is still 1 more individual shooting. That requires us to get (5/8) to guarantee us a Marksman Badge + $200. Wow attractive right? Ya i hope to achieve that!

Gosh, less than a month to go. My recent training includes, 10km run weekly & gym training (consider very poor). According to Men's Health, in order to run a full marathon, one must clock at least 30-40km weekly, and be able to run 28km - 32 km in a single session close to the marathon date. Im thinking of going for a 1 time 20km run next week, hope i could complete it without stopping or facing any problem.

Battalion Anniv!

Last month was Battalion Anniversary, but due to many many unknown n uncleared reasons, it was postponed to today. So instead of stayin camp to haf the celebration, this time round, it was arranged in the cinema - Lido Shaw House. Basically is the big hall. The whole hall was booked by us, so u can imagine how terrible it was, with hundreds of guys in it. haha. Rare experience.

The chosen movie was Tropic Thunder. Haha it was indeed funny, there were alot of surprises here n there, which simply made the whole show so interesting n amazing. Worth watchin. If can, look carefully at the casts, u wouldnt believe it, 1 of them is Tom Cruise. On top of the movie, we were also given 1 packet of big popcorn + pepsis. Total Price: More than $10 per person..lolx..i didnt know our battalion is so rich.

My phone was facing some scurity codes problem, anyway i also dunno wats tat. Since the service center is very near from where i was, i went to haf it repair. The queue was long, waited almost like an hour. After examing for a few seconds, the person told me, i will come back to collect on sunday. Anyway the issue was, she didnt tell me wat was wrong with the phone despite askin her repeatedly. Sigh..lolx..lousy service!

Since the rest of my army mates were at some wulu place playin Dota, i decided to join them (didnt play). And the dae ended smoothly with shopping n playin pool.

Finally, a new Acer Lappy. Heex but it isnt mine. It belongs to my brother. He needed it for his project, anyway, haha, it will be mine when he is not using..dun care..heex..Oh ya, on top of that, of course there are some freebies (mircosoft office student edition, moussie, thumbdrive, additonal 1GB Ram) ha i realised im good at bargaining - i managed to get an additional hundred dollars worth of lappy bag, printer n antivirus from the salesperson. lolx.

Going back to camp soon!

And this time round, we got to bear through a few days of sleepless nights. A event that will last for 3 days, 3 nights. In order to stay fully focused, i have all my snacks ready, entertainment devices fully charged and right mind tuned. All these, is to ensure i dun fall asleep while e event is going on. Alright, hope to haf fun!

For e past few days of so, i haf been constantly inserting new album covers to e ipod songs - the effect and the result of it when viewed in itouch is marvellous. At the same time, i haf been flipping through the old messages in my inbox, and came across a few old photos of me during my 6months Industrial Attachment in Becton Dickinson Medical Singapore. Really miss those days of fun and laughters with the staffs there.

Rollerblading at East!

Im back home after a full 5-days-stay in camp - those days were filled with activities in front of the computer screen. Ya and in the next few days, we will be heavily involve in some mini competition.

This morning, once again, i was in gym with elm n bryan. I dun think we did a lot of workout today, for dunno wat reason, we actually left e place rather early. We waited for keith to arrive as he was going to swim with bryan. haha the wait was worth it, as i received a gift from keith (from taiwan).

In the afternoon, i went to meet them again. But this time round, e venue is at East Coast, and we went there for rollerblading. Eek the weather forecast wasnt accurate at all, i was told from 2-5pm, east side will be showered with storm n thunder, however, it was not true. What we saw, was sunny n windy afternoon instead.

We made our way to Orchard after cooling ourselves down. I bought a nike sensor "adapter". Only to realise it is onli an adapter, i still need to purchase the expensive sensor. ha waste my money.

Elm went to buy adidas running shoes and ya we went ard to look for arm band for our running purposes.

Wow, it was indeed a busy week. With gaming stuffs, maintaining equipment, as well as ippt. Once again i got silver for it. $$$

This morning i was away to gym with the other 3 macho guys. Kind of weird, we didnt plan for it, but it seemed like all e 4 of us wore white tops again. 2hours later, Jason Tan came to join us, but sadly, i didnt haf time for him cos we were leaving at that time. Elm came to my house to configure some wireless stuffs for me. If not, i think my com will always be unsecured and be at risks. Thanks buddiex..haha

At 12pm, we took taxi down to Bugis.

And the first stop was California Fitness (Bugis). It was a guided tour by a fitness consultant, and so we toured around the places, did a fitness measuring test, and we got a 2 weeks guest pass.

According to the fitness score, mine is 77points. hahaha meanin im reasonably fit.lolx.

Ok throughout the process, a young consultant kept persuading us, forcing us to sign for the package, no choice but to reject her..i think she was kind of sad, as she didnt get to seal e deal..lols..but it was indeed an expensive package, we told her we need to try out first before we could make any deicision. lolx..But all i know, my nv er had got her part done in recommending us here, and the signing up of the package thingy is not within her part..heex..thanks for the pursading, poor little consultant.

Soon, right after tat, i went to search for the best itouch deal in town. And yea, found it at a very attractive and great price. I bought it - iPod touch 16GB.. cool. going to love it alot.

First day of loniness. My parents and siblings are away for holiday. By now, they should haf reached china le. Hmm didnt receive any call from them, tried contacting them but to no avail. Diao, now then i realise, none of them has auto-roaming. wat the...

Went for a short run in the morning. Played maple for a while (requested from elm). Brought my old flute to cash converters at AMK outlet.

It has been 5 years long, and finally, i got to meet up with my old secondary friends.

MinJie, Jason Pan, Jason Tan, Shiming.

We met up at Bowen Street Soccer Court. Ya we had some fun matches with different teams from different planets, and of course, we lost. haha anyway it's not the matter of winning or losing, but is the chemistry that we shown during the match. Great.

After the games, we went to Kovan for pool. And it proved something, my aiming cannot make it. I didnt play pool for many years. But surprisingly, i still managed to win a few rounds (tyco) i think.hahaha.

Well, if everything is alright, i'll be joining them every sunday for soccer. While keeping my saturday free for gym, running and miscellanous.

Tomorrow, my whole family will be flying off to China & Hong Kong. Meaning to say, i'll be alone for the entire whole week. After some form of calculations, I have figured out something. 2days in camp, 1 day cohesion, 4days (alone). Sigh, how's e feeling of being alone at home? can anyone share it with me. I can only think of 1 solution - occupy myself with sports and more sports... Shopping will only make me spend more n more money (no way).

I was at Raffles Place this morning, and i came across this couple. Their dressings were a bit weird, or rather weird. The lady was wearing gown and the guy was wearing shirt with bermudas, holding on to umbrella. Weird. Initially, i still thought they were some sort of actors or performers, after sitting at a corner watching them, yes, it was clear that they were taking wedding photos. ahah fresh idea.

Today is the first day of Career and Educational Fair (organized by CATS - meow). I went to walk around the area to look at different career prospectives and courses they offer. But sadly, i didnt manage to seek any help or get anyone to ans my qns. Cos none of it is related to life science.

Haha im selling my old Samaung T10 to my brother. And yes, meaning, i'll be able to get itouch soon. Price: 8GB-$388, 16GB-$498. So expensive!! How i wish... ... anyway it wont happen!

Haha, im supposed to return home tml morning, since today there wasnt much thing to do, we were allowed to leave the camp in the evening. Other than learning how to play wif that game, most of the time we were resting, uttering rubbish and also talking some computer-related stuffs.

I was at Orchard this afternoon. Today is the Istana Open House, alot of people, jammed the whole place. I wanted to go, i didnt get to see before, but by lookin at the crowds, heex of course walked away la. Wouldnt want to queue up for this. I didnt realli get to shop much, cos my focus was on the Citibank stuff. I need to settle some card isssues.

Again, walked ard, see see look look, went to Topman, went to Fleshimp, n yet no money spent. Until i reached carrefour, saw tubberwave at a discounted price - very tempting n ya i bought :)
Back to Hougang, i went to apply for GNC card, and upon signing up, not onli do i get to enjoy discounts on all items, i received an international gold card. heex.. Will show it to u guys when the cards r ready. Oh ya a few bucks gone on the products.

Hahaha, yea Ashley (sec classmate), expressed interests in joining me for the 42km training. To the actual Standard Charatered marathon, is just merely 66days ahead. Argh, got to start my consistent trainings real soon.

After 1 full week of rehearsal n IPPT test, tomorrow is again going to be a busy n tough day.

Well, let's talk about IPPT. It was supposed to be held this morning, due to the rain that came in the later part of the dae, it had to be cancelled. Still, we managed to get all the 4 stations done. So far, all my results met the gold standards :) But as usual, for my 2.4km, im always gettin a silver timing.

Tomorrow morning, i will be visiting to gym, it has become a norm for me. But immediately right after the workout, i will haf to rush back home n get all my attire ready for my cousin's rom which will be held in HortPark. Of course, i will be there early to get the place decorated. And later part, will be the arriving of the relatives, guests and the visitors. Ha, it is gonna be a interesting n yet tough dae. Predicted time to end will be around 8pm. Photos will be taken and be uploaded once the event is over. Stay tuned.

Sunday - Guang Yi' s baby 1st month old. Ha i haf seen the photos, so cute! On sunday will be live, i think it will be more interesting than the F1 live. Luckily, GY's house is near my place, ha can save on transports, and time too. Yea as usual, more photos will be uploaded once it is ready.

I haf applied and chosen my leaves for the next 3 months, hope it wont clash with any of the guard duties or public holidays. Going to haf more breaks n offs for the upcoming daes :) Yea!

Sun-tanning right after the workout and the swimming pool is right beside the gym. This time round 1 more person joined in the fun, Elm, Brian, Keith and me!

Went home straight and out to town in the later part of the afternoon.
Places that we visited: From Orchard to Somerset to Dohby Ghaut. Shop from north to south, n from east to west. We were really thick-skin, went to some some super branded outlets - Prada, Ben Sherman, Banana Republic, Fred Perry!! Expensive.

Yea, finally "it" has come to the end!

The sweat, the tireness, the pain and the hardship, all has ended in a 4days event. Ha Whatever result, it doesnt really concern me, more for the upper level. All i know is, i've already done my part.

With that, of course, we are awarded off till next tues. *smile*

Anyway, i do want to thank "someone" for making by outfield a great experience, for makin me look so swollen - and look as if im a chicken pox patient. Thanks for leaving souvenirs and gifts all around my body. I know you must be feeling sad that i'll be leaving you for long and yes for very very long. U r indeed my best GUEST! For the first time in my life, i encountered fireflies that were so close to me. Great!

At Suntec yesterday, there was some kind of "CATS" educational, career exhibition. Ya and of course i was there to seek some advice and so on. After walking around the area, lookin at brochures, visiting diff booths - Conclusion: None interests me! Too bad..hahaha

At night, we celebrated birthday with our grandma (mother side). Throughout the event, i seldom opened my mouth, maybe is because, we are distant relatives, so not much of the topics to link. feel so weird yesterday. But all i know is, the baby is cute!

Once again, completed another 10km race. This time round, i took 53.10mins. Haha im so proud to be in the race. Not only will the money be donated to the charities, it is also a big event whereby 26 countries will be running in the same day.

The race flag off at 4.15pm for Wave 1 and 4.30pm for Wave 2. Seriously saying, we had no idea, which waves were we supposed to be, anyway, once the honk sounded, we jus run. The route is to CBD area, back to Espanade to Clarke Quay and back to Padang. Total distance of 10km. Joanne Peh was there too.

After finishing the line, and returned the champion chip, the participants would be awarded the nike bracelet.. So nice:

Comex 2008, im here!

We got to book out in the afternoon. Wow, the chance is soo rare..like once in a million years. Anyway, since it was early, no point spending the time at home. So, we decided to gather a group of people - go shopping and comex together. Initially, it was only Byron, Elm, Sherman & Me. Slowly and steady, the group expanded. from 4 to 6 (Wee Siang & Jia Xing) then finally to 9 (Yang Hong, Gabriel, Jacob). hahaha..

With the help of Yang Hong, I got myself a 320GB Harddisk at a price of $129. hahaha

Oh ya not forgetting..i saw my nu er 2 times in a row today.. 1st time was in MRT..she was wif her friends..hahah and 2nd time, was outside MRT, at bus stop..hahaha so qiao..anyway nice seeing you=) heex..nice smile!

I went for a short 10km run after tat. I think my stamina has increased a little bit...cos i didnt feel tired for the run. I can continue for like 1 hour..hahah i assume onli.

And yea..still rmb my 1st 10km run which was held on june this year. I appeared in magazine hahaha.

Today i woke up early to meet elm for gym. Yea, another new guy joined us..now our group is gettin bigger, with 4 of us. We spent bout 1.5 hours before proceedin to Sengkang foodcourt for lunch. We encountered bird loiterin around in the mall. So far, it should be the first case in Singapore.hahaha.And this bird realli know how to enjoy life, chose the air-con mall.

We left the place right after eating as we were going to Central to collect our kit bag. The queue was not long. But according to elm, it was extremely long ytd. Luckily, i didnt go or else, got to squeeze with the crowds.

I bought a Nike singlet with a 20% discount. So nice, so comfy.

We went to see the aftermath of the Padang..Wow terrible, hahaha look, those water cartons were still left untouched.

AHM 2008!

Once again, it's a once a year Singapore Bay Run, Army Half Marathon organised by SAFRA! This year, 4 Singapore Armoured Bridgae was the main organising committee in this event. So, there was no doubt that being the branched of 4SAB, we were needed to be there to help out, to set up the whole area.

Thursday, we were there to unload Ice Mountain Mineral Water and it took us 5-6 hours to complete e unloading.

Saturday, we needed to be there again to do the final touched up and arrangement. Our meetin timing was 2145hrs. As i was there a little bit earlier than the meet-up timing, i was fortunate enough to witness at least half of the firwork displays. It was wonderful, the position where i was standing could see almost the whole view of the firework.

As it was still raining, the whole padang field was packed n filled with muds all ard the places. We could hardly miss any steps of mud. and of course our shoes were muddy and stink. No choice, got to bear through the event. 1st stuff to arrive was bananas. We managed to do a fast one, arranged it accordingly to the respectivetly areas. Since the arrival of 100plus isotonic drinks, was not so early, we had had some rest in the underpass and we did not care our images, whats in our mind was "sleep".

Finally, it came the crowds and drinks. I would say today was a blessed day. Early in the morning, there was a bit rain, we thought the rain would eventually get heavier.However we were wrong. the rain stopped just before the commencin of the 21km. The weather remained good till late afternoon, when all the runners had dismissed. So sad, as we had to clear up all e mess, of course with out shoes stained and stuck with muds.

A bit pity that i didnt get to take part in this 21km race. Anyway, it was nice to see some familiar faces - James Ong, Jamie Tan, Allen, Yi Han etc... ...

Just now actually wanted to go Central to collect Nike Kit Bag, but i received the msg saying the collection was closed. I have to wait till the next morning to collect it. Well, since i was already on the train, no choice, u-turn and got down to ntuc to get some snacks.

Im so tired today. Tonight will sure be a wonderful night for me..shhhh pls do not disturb my lovely sleep hahaha

Thursday:
Afternoon book out.
Evening report to Padang.

Task:
Unload 3000++ cartons of Ice Mountain Bottles from the tonner. It took us 4-5hours to finish unloading. and by the time i reached home, it was already 1am.

Friday:
Gone for a short run. Actually wanted to go further, but the rain came. so didnt get to complete far.

Saturday:
-going to gym
-going for haircut
-report to Padang by 2145 (so early!).

Task:
going to unload bananas and 100plus..will be twice worse than Ice Mountain. Twice the load. I dun think there is any chance for us to rest as the race starts at 4,5++am. The whole event is assumed to end at 11am. but there is not the end for us, as we have to pack up all the stuffs and send back to camp. So i guess by the time i reach home, it should be late evening. Sianx.

Sunday:

Upcoming AHM!

Im not supposed to be back this week, due to the upcomin Army Half Marathon event, as well as, stay in camp. But, i was lucky enough to be given off day to replace the weekend that will be burnt. Last week, i rmb doing alot of stuff, from jogging to shopping to reading to sleeping. So many things were done in those 2 days. Ya and true enough, the amount spent was also quite terrible. Anyway, i already have saving plans in mind. heex..going to give it a try 2 months later.

Yesterday, i was watchin the ping pong olypmic before proceeding back to camp. the matches were exciting, but onli on the 1st round. Subsequent matches, hmm hahaha no comment, anyway i think singapore girls still did make singapore proud right by achieving silver. congratz.

In camp, we did nothin much in the morning, except usual combat run. In the afternoon, we were washing the vehicle shed. full of soils, stones, and more. But we our hands, brooms, dustpan, nothing is impossible for us. We are thinkin of openin our very own washing and cleaning pte ltd.

Back From Field Camp!

Back from field camp. It was a 4days 3nights event, everything was done in the jungle - eat, sleep, movement, pee. The 1st 3 days were quite terrible, but the last day was fun. Shhh not to tell anyone - we managed to notice rambutan trees around the area, and guess what we did? Of course we plucked those rambutans from the trees and eat. It was indeed sweet and nice, hmm most likely cos we were craving for nice food for long time. The food that we were issued, was combat ration - yucky!

For the past 3 days, we were indeed lucky as there wasnt any droplets of rain that came after us. Rain will cause the whole area to become muddy, imagine us proning, doing sentry, walking around with muds around us, stuck in our boots and so on... the feelin isnt nice. But unfortunately, heaven wasnt kind with us all the time, it rained on the 4th day, with us having a mini parade (operational ready). Sucks, no choice, reached camp with a soaky and wet boots and uniform. Still, we are Operational Ready. Congratz.. hahaha

I was watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony just now, wow wow wow, nice. especially the fireworks and ya some of their performance. heex, so proud to be a chinese, so proud for them too.

Tomorrow is Singapore Birthday. Happy Birthday.

Tomorrow i will be going to gym again, before that should be some short run. Sunday going Mount Faber and end the day with movie "money no enough 2". This time round, i'll be going with family.

If everything is fine, i should be taking part in the Standard Chartered 42km run this year. Early bird registration will be closed this monday, got to make my decision soon. heex.. any supporter?

COC Parade!

Last week was indeed a busy week for us. That was due to the parade for the outgoing Commanding Officer. Throughout the week, onli rehearsal n rehearsal and nothing else. Friday was the actual event, with many big shots around, and all we need to do was, to march in the parade square, stand there for an hour and listen to the speech. We were told the speech would last for 4 mins. Starting was still alright... and he talked n talked...

Well... 4 mins past... n the speech still yet to end...

suddenly we heard him saying all the "thank you", we were all happy and stayed alert...

but still it didnt end, and the speech continued...

lalalalalalalala...

finally after 20mins or so...it ended!

wow! scary, our hands were numbed, our legs were almost become jelly. haha he had spent 3 days to prepare his speech. no wonder so long. anyway after the parade, we didnt haf much rest, as we had to prepare for the vehicles for the outfield this comin week. if im not wrong, by the time i reached home was ard 12am. so late!

this morning, i went to gym with elm. this time round, we went to the new sengkang sport complex. wow it was so nice, the swimming pool has slides and indoor facilities. The gym is well equiped with all the latest equipment and it was big and spacious. One word, "incredibly" nice.

after the gym, i went straight home. cos there was news saying today might be activated, and we will haf to be there in 2 hours, so i didnt dare to go far. I went AMK Hub instead, with all my barang barang with me, just in case any call, i will go straight to camp from where i am. Oh ya, not forgotten, while waiting for calls and sms, my phone suddenly become soundless. Seriously sayin, im rather scared, cos if i missed the call, and if im late for the thing, i might get punished. so i decided to get a new nokia phone instead. costed less than 100bucks. but still heartache.

3pm, and still no news, onli then we realised, it was a false alarm. sigh..

so i make a trip to city hall. oh, today was ndp preview, it was so crowded. and yeah, i managed to watch the marching contingents and the black knights performing airshow..so nice

Mizuno Wave 2008!

Once again, 5th Anniversary Mizuno Wave and this year it was held at Temasek Polytechnic. As i was unfamiliar with Tampines Area, i had to wake up rather early to figure out my way there. I took bus 27, and alighted 2 stops after Tampines Interchange. Then, i was still not too sure what bus to take, suddenly rmb yanling told me 2 sth sth. hahaha really based on my luck, i boarded the bus. Luckily, it was right. By the time i reached there, it was around 0645, i went to meet up with Elm & Kah Wei. The event was better than the Vgo Run, it was more organized and Personal Trainers from Planet Fitness were invited to give us a short warm up. The run started at 0730 sharp.

Route: Temasek Polytechnic --> Bedok Reservoir --> Temasek Polytechnic
Total Distance: 10.3km

I took 53mins to complete the race. I think i haf improved again, better than the previous run by 1min. hahaha

Im back again! This week was rather a busy week, with armour vehicles to be painted and maintained due to the upcomin "change of command" parade. Last Tuesday, we had lots of fun, we were being chosen to act as "civilian" to disturb those Army Logistic Personnel. Our tasks were rather simple - dressed in cilivian clothes, carried sticks with us and got to behave nasty. I think they were shocked by our acting. hahaha. Mediacorps should haf signed us instead!

Today, I was at Khatib, went for a short 2.4km run, then followed by gym workouts. It was rather crowded today, almost all the equipment were occupied by "at least 1 person". I encountered a weird guy, i was doing sit-up, and he came up to me, asked me am i done with the equipment. Since, i was almost done with it, so i gave up the equipment to him. Guess wat? The next moment when i turned my head, he was doing other thing, and he was not even using the equipment. Strange Guy!

After the workout and lunch, i went back home, cos im really tired, and i fell asleep immediately upon lying on my bed. By the time i woke up, 2 hours had gone. Wow, that was really fast. Since it was a saturday, i did not want to further waste any more time on sleepin, so i made my way to Orchard. My shoes are spoiled, so i bought a new cheap shoes. At Giordano, i bought a discounted cargo pant. In fact, today was a budget shopping trip!

Tomorrow, again, i got to wake up early. 6.30am has to report at Temasek Polytechnic Stadium, for the 10km Mizuno Wave Run. Hmm quite nervous, cos i realised i tend to haf out of breath very fast, tonight, shall drink more water and sleep early, hopefully it helps tml, and target to return: Below 59mins59secs. Yesterday, i went gym with Elmer, as usual at Yishun Sports Complex. Did some weight liftings, sit-ups and ended the exercise wif a short run in the stadium. In the afternoon, I was alone again, but this time round, i went to Somerset to collect Mizuno Wave Run Kit Bag.

After the collection of Kit Bag, i went to National library to read up on bio books. Then came across Forensic science Book, wow gross, but it is a very detailed book of identifying different causes from their injuries. Home sweet home after that!

Finally, it is the end of the Amazing Race! A very tiring and money-wasting event. The amount of money spent on the transport alone, approx. $15, and 2 days event food & misc: around $20. haha.

2nd Day of the event, our meetin point was at city hall. Since it was still early, and since most of us had already gathered, we decided to haf our breakfast there. So from the notice that we had our very 1st mission for the day was:

1) Changi Chapel and Museum

To get there was like from South (City Hall) to East (Tanah Merah). so far!
At Tanah Merah, it was still not yet the end to the destination, we had to take bus to that place and the hint that we got was, near Changi Prison.

That is basically the schedule for the entire event. Starting point was at Kranji Camp, and our first destination was Fort Canning Park. As it was still early, we had our breakfast at PS.

2nd Mission: -Answer Questions regarding the history of Fort Canning Park

As we had the brochure with us, so answerin those qns werent a big problem for us. But the problem was, we got to stay for 2 hours before moving on to the other destination. Troublesome, didnt realli like the planning and arrangement of the waiting period. And since Liang Court is just around the corner, we decided to walk down to the mall. Most of the areas were still under renovation, so we settled ourselves at Starbucks, drank some coffees, read newspaper and took some photos.

3rd Mission: -Group Photo-taking in the MRT (Photo not wif me)

As the MRT is usually crowded, so we took the train to Marina Bay and at the same time had photo taken.

4th Mission: -To Kranji War Memorial.

As we were at Dohby Ghaut, travelling back to Kranji were very terrible. It took us 45mins to reach Kranji Station and another 2 stops to the actual place itself. The place was filled with tombs af those soldiers fought in the war. As usual our task was to answer some questions before proceeding to other destination. As we were unaware of the Singapore History, we couldnt really answer those questions, and our onli help was from the notes that were hidden in the stone box. It was easy, before we could really answer, we had to read the history - very long! hahaha it had been a long time eversince we last touched the books, if not because of the quiz, we wouldnt want to bother.

By the time everything was done, it was already lated. So we decided to stop the mission and continue tomorrow. Tomorrow meetin point is at City Hall. Again, so early. hahaha

After the whole event, elm n me went to VivoCity to get some stuffs. I got myself 1 new bermudas and he got himself 2 new Polo T. hahaha shit spent money again. heex, i think someone is going to say me again. cos i told her im poor and cheap, no money to buy thing, n yet i went to buy bermudas. hahaha

Spent money again and this time round was in IKEA. My room was a bit too dull, so in order to make e room looked more lively, i got to think of new ideas for it, and ya of course my inspiration was from IKEA.

After paying for the things, i got to carry those heavy loads to bus stop. It was terrible, waited 45mins for bus service 27. n guess what, 4buses came together, ya i took the 4th bus, and then turned back, another 2 buses came. It made a total of 6 buses altogether with the 45mins wait. -.-'''

OSIM Trialthon hahaha, why am i so excited, i also didnt participate =) lolx.. anyway i did haf my regular run in the morning - Stamina Training. After the run, im so dead tired, brain cells all killed, the only motivation that keeps me going is the bed. haha yea had a nice sleep.

By the time i woke up, it was already 12noon, im late =( as im meeting someone to get my notes back. But somehow, somewhat, i managed to reach there on time =). The notes were heavy, and i came back home wif droplets of sweat all ard my body. Eek. Oh ya on the way back, saw tzehui, poly friend, hahaha she didnt notice me, n neither do i could recognise her, was purely based on guessing - so i sms her, n yes im right, it was her. hahaha

Right now, im still waiting for the arrival of TV, haha it was from my ah ma, and the tv is going to be placed in my room, so excited..but but but when will the TV arrive? hahaha

Yanling got her Rugby Football Matches today, hahaha..too bad i dunno the rules as well as the scoring system for the game, so cant really conclude much. But it seems like u guys enjoyed alot =) haha Good Job! Mummy It's Over~

Today is our Army company cohesion day. It was held at East Coast Pit 54 so so so far! Before that, we actually met up at Parkway Parade. Starting was 6 ppl, and the group slowly increased to a total manpower of 12 haha. Fierce, imagine 12 ppl walkin ard the mall, what will the rest think of us? - cute boi boi going shopping! haha Anyway, like i mentioned earlier, the place is too far from we were, so we decided to take a cab down, 3 cabs altogether.
